At Upmanyu Foundation, our vision is to meaningfully improve the quality of life for marginalized communities in rural India. We are a committed group of individuals who bring together our time, experience, and resources to create opportunities that enable people to lead more secure, independent, and dignified lives.

Our work is guided by a strong focus on sustainability. Rather than creating parallel systems, we aim to strengthen and make better use of existing public and private resources available to the community. We work closely with local stakeholders, identify gaps, and introduce practical solutions that can be sustained over time. By building long-term relationships and partnerships, we ensure that the impact of our initiatives continues well beyond initial intervention.

Our approach is hands-on and community-driven. We engage directly with families, understand their needs, and design initiatives that are relevant and implementable at the grassroots level. Whether it is improving access to education, creating livelihood opportunities, or supporting community infrastructure, every effort is aimed at enabling long-term self-reliance.

Currently, we have adopted a village located approximately 40 km from Varanasi, with a population of around 1,000 families. In this village, we are working across multiple areas including education, skill development, and community well-being. Our goal is not just to provide short-term support, but to create a model of holistic village development that can be strengthened and sustained by the community itself over time.
